Oh well, we three decided that we'd have a great time no matter if no one else shows up. Maggie lead us to the spot, a beautiful, a gorgeous shady spot along the river. On the way down the road, past the landing strip of the airport, I spied Nancy R. in her car along the dirt road and she pulled in behind our 3 red vehicle 'convoy'. OK, now we have 4 but I have to admit I was disappointed there wasn't more. As we pulled into this 'Shangri-la' with the pavilion and restrooms, beautiful breeze and a view to challenge the best of the valley, I spied with my big, surprised eyes, scatterings of bag chairs and easels. They were there! Not all, but most!.
What a wonderful time we had, too. The media was varied; Nancy in pastels, Lynn K in oils, Deb in watercolors, Maggie in everything, and that is only a portion of who was there.
We decided to do this again in 2 weeks so if anyone would like to join, there is definitely plenty of room.
